Taken from Poppy's sketch of the Oxford Dodo in the natural history museum in Oxford. This piece was created by Poppy as part of a design for a customer in the town. His appliqué body is made from a soft piece of vintage wool.

Poppy's pieces evolve as she stitches, using her vintage Singer sewing machine to bring a sketch to life. The slightly unpredictable nature of drawing in stitch means that the lines have a naive quality to them.

This piece is a one-off original.
